She painted

His soul

With her 

Colours of love. 


Even when

She knew

He would

Live a short life. 


Everyday, 

She dreamt

Of him

In her dreams. 


As, she wished

To be

Cuddled

In his arms. 


But the pain

Was  pricking 

 And unbearable 

For her. 


She stays 

Awake

Hoping to be

Cuddled by her Dad.
